Our family of four spent 4 months in Taiwan and has discovered we’re addicted to travel. If you are interested in OUR home, we’ll probably be interested in yours! Our place is in Northern Utah, in the picturesque Cache Valley. We’re an hour and a half north of Salt Lake City, an hour from Bear Lake (the Caribbean of the Rockies), 5 hours south of Yellowstone National Park, and 3.5 hours from Jackson Hole Wyoming and the Grand Teton National Park. Logan, UT (where we are) is the home of Utah State University. Outdoor recreating is huge here – in the summer there are marathons and bike races, but in the winter, locals enjoy skiing, sledding, and snowshoeing the local canyons which are 5-15 minutes away. There is also a fabulous arts scene during the summer – local theater and Opera is world class, and Summerfest is a 3 day extravaganza of great art and musical performance.
OUR place is a beautifully serene home base from which to enjoy it all! The house was built in 2008. The main floor has a fire place, grand piano, and open floor plan great for entertaining or chilling with family. The dining area comfortably seats 10. The second floor has a master suite, a boys room, a girls room, and a home office which can be converted into a bedroom. The laundry room is also on the second floor. The basement has a toy closet stocked with games, dress-ups, and learning manipulatives, a big screen TV, open space for whatever fun your family likes best, and a guest room away from the other rooms for anyone in the family needing peace and quiet.
