Balenbouche Estate Guesthouse & Retreat Center, St Lucia

We are looking for individuals, particularly worldschooling families, interested in renting one of our guest cottages long term (for 1 – 6 months or more, affordable rates, partial work exchange possible). The historic Balenbouche eco-plantation encompasses over 60 acres of natural vegetation, pastures, fruit orchards, tropical gardens, lily ponds and trails. We are a holiday destination for nature lovers, as well as a retreat venue, organic farm, family home, and heritage site. Our family has lived and worked at Balenbouche for over 35 years and we are home schooling our 6 year old boy. Our focus is on sustainability, authenticity and community. We are hoping to make a shift towards an even more sustainable and self-sufficient lifestyle by creating a small semi-permanent community of like minded people.
