Our apartment/flat is not fancy but is clean and has everything you need, it also has a little area for homeschooling.
The condominium has a beautiful large pool, a small gym, tennis court, green areas and the nicest security guards.
This is a great apartment in a great location, most of the neighbors are locals and Americans, next to stores, local restaurants (Best Chicken Rice in Singapore), playgrounds, parks, Zoo, library, mall, bus stops (no car needed), two nearby train stations that will take you anywhere in Singapore (Airport, Chinatown, Downtown, Marina Bay, Sentosa, etc) or to JB in Malaysia. From JB Malaysia you can take the train that goes all the way to Bangkok, Thailand at a very affordable price.
Singapore is a great location to find cheap flights or ferries to go anywhere in Southeast Asia (amazing islands like Phi Phi, Bali, Tioman, etc)
