We are a bilingual, family-centered Holistic Education Center offering full-time programs for Pre-kinder to 3rd grade for local and global, traveling families; with an emphasis on community service and environmental sustainability.

(See our website for details of Holistic Education and why we believe this model is optimal for all children)

We offer fully accredited Waldorf-inspired "Oak Meadow" curriculum, nutrition education, cooking, yoga and midfulness education, conservation science, English and Spanish, sign language, culture studies, and a thriving arts program.

We are a certified Green School, chemical free, organic, and offer a primarily all-outdoor school environment.

We serve all organic plant-based snacks and lunches.

Children work in same-age groups as well as mixed aged groups.

Daily gratitude, breathwork and meditation/relaxation, nutrition and movement, and the arts are woven into bilingual language and mathematical experiences daily.

We additionally offer several camps and family retreats throughout the year.

We also offer specialized services such as private language instruction, occupational therapy, family health and wellness plans, and will be offering online curriculum soon.

We also offer an international visiting student program for children ages 6-12, encouraging families to join our local program while on vacation or while living in our community.

Our program is ideal for families who are vacationing, homeschooling, "road schooling", "world schooling", and "unschooling".

We currently have 15 full-time students, 4 core teachers, 3 specialist teachers, 1 community volunteer, and frequent parent volunteers. This level of dynamic support ensures depth and attention is given to each child throughout the day.

Life Project Education has partnered with the Sloth Institute of Costa Rica to offer an exciting World School opportunity for this summer 2017!

🌟Our Sloth Module will run from June 5th to July 28th!🌟

Last April 2016, Life Project Education experienced first-hand the tragic impact of human development on rain forest wildlife. Sadly, a 3-toed sloth passed away in front of our school entrance after being electrocuted by a cable she used to travel between trees.

Energized by an urgency to prevent future accidents, Life Project Education has partnered with the Sloth Institute and our local electrical company (ICE)!

We will study rain forest and sloth biology in order to design a fundraising campaign to raise awareness and funds to support our student-led community project to help protect our sloth neighbors!🌍

All money raised will support the installation of protective “sloth boxes” on electrical cables that lie within the local wildlife’s high-traffic biological corridors as well as support additional sloth rescues and adoptions. 😍

Student will assist with the design and implementation of the sloth-boxes around the community. To add personal & loving touches to each box that is installed.

Join us for this incredible, one of a kind, hands-on community rainforest conservation project led by the students!
